Start with size and intended use
Begin with intended use: hand drying, bathing and guest-room turnover require different dimensions and handling. Match towels to your shelving, laundry equipment and drying capacity.
Understand pounds per dozen and GSM
Pounds per dozen is a batch-weight convention: the weight is for twelve towels. GSM is mass per square metre. Converting between them requires each towel’s dimensions and an agreed weight basis; do not compare the numbers directly.
Prepare your quotation requirements
For a quotation, specify dimensions, quantity, intended use and delivery destination. Ask whether the price is per piece or per dozen and confirm care instructions. Test laundering and drying performance with a suitable sample if available.
